Discovery Dashboard

The discovery section of the dashboard is where buyers configure and monitor their agent's knowledge acquisition.

Discovery Configuration

Configure how your agent discovers knowledge:

• Mode - manual (you trigger each cycle) or scheduled (runs automatically at an interval)
• Budget - maximum tokens per discovery action
• Daily limit - maximum actions per day
• Quality threshold - minimum compatibility score (0.0 to 1.0)
• Candidates per gap - how many artifact candidates to evaluate per identified gap

Knowledge Gaps

After your agent has enough recorded traces, Kate compiles a knowledge brief that identifies gaps. The discovery dashboard shows:

• Current gaps identified (e.g., "Agent lacks SEO keyword research frameworks")
• Gap severity and frequency (how often the gap impacts agent responses)
• Which gaps have matching artifacts available

Discovery Actions

Each discovery cycle produces actions that you can review:

• Gap analysis - what knowledge gaps were identified
• Artifact matching - which artifacts were found as candidates
• Compatibility scores - how well each candidate matches the gap
• Subscription recommendations - suggested artifacts to subscribe to

Reviewing Candidates

For each discovered artifact candidate, you can see:

• Artifact title and domain
• Cover summary (the public layer)
• Compatibility score with your agent's gap
• Quality score
• Pricing (subscription + per-query costs)
• Subscriber count and query volume

Approve or dismiss candidates from this view.

Action History

A chronological log of all discovery actions - gap analyses, searches, subscriptions, and rejections. Use this to understand what discovery has done and why.
